Normally the people behind Investor Relations websites have either
an investment or a technology background. Their roots affect their
approach, which is driven by either financial or technical
considerations.
At Iroqo, we approach online IR from a different angle. With
expertise in communications, we emphasise the ‘Relations’ aspect of
Investor Relations. Believing that IR is about communications as
much as data, we create sites that engage users, instead of just
bombarding them with facts and impressing them with technical high
jinks.
During the development of Iroqo, we first identified clients’
communications objectives then we built the technology to meet
those objectives. We made technology the servant of communications,
not the master.
As communicators rather than techies or city-folk, we brought to
bear years of deep internet user experience and front loaded it
into Iroqo. We led with the experience we wanted the investor to
have, then used technology to create that experience.
The result is a more fulfilling experience for everyone, from the
in-house person given the day-to-day duty of managing the site to
shareholders, with all the other stakeholders in between.
